Privacy policy

Last updated October 26, 2026

This policy explains what information Sleep Sound Lab collects when you use this site, how we use it and the choices you have.

What we collect

  • Your account: your email address and password (stored only as a secure hash), and the name and phone number you choose to give us.
  • What you send us: bookings, orders, messages, files and anything else you enter on this site.
  • Support chats: the messages you send to our support assistant and our team.
  • Technical details: your IP address and browser type, kept in our logs to run the site and keep it secure.

How we use it

  • To provide what you ask for: your account, bookings, orders and replies to your questions.
  • To send you emails about your account and your activity, such as confirmations, reminders and password resets.
  • To keep the site safe, prevent abuse and fix problems.

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use it for advertising.

AI features

Some features use artificial intelligence: the support assistant that answers questions in the chat, and reading the text of documents or recordings you upload when a feature asks for them. To do this, the content is sent to Google's Gemini service, which processes it on our behalf and doesn't use it to train its models. Answers from the support assistant can be wrong; ask for a person in the chat if something matters.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run this site. They process your information only to provide their service to us:

  • Applet, the platform this site is built and hosted on.
  • Amazon Web Services, for hosting and file storage.
  • Supabase, for our database and sign-in.
  • Resend, for sending email.
  • Google, for the AI features described above.

We may also share information when the law requires it, or to protect our customers, our business or the public.

Cookies and storage

We use cookies only to keep you signed in. The support chat keeps a random identifier in your browser so your conversation is still there when you come back. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep your account information while your account is open. Records of bookings, orders and messages are kept as long as we need them to serve you and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. When you close your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information unless the law requires us to keep it.

Your choices and rights

You can see and update your details in your account. You can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Depending on where you live (for example California, the UK or the EU) you may have further rights under local law, and we'll honor them. We won't treat you differently for using them.

Security

Your information is stored in our own private database and file storage, sent over encrypted connections and only reachable by our site's server. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect what you trust us with.

Children

This site isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes and contact

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page, and tell you about important changes by email. For any question or request about your information, message us using the chat on this site and ask for a person.
